Chrome extension privacy
Applies to ClientDashboard.ai — Sheet to Dashboard, version 1.2.0. It passes a link, not your spreadsheet contents.
- What it reads
- The address and title of the tab you click the icon on, or the link you right-click. The title is shown only in the popup.
- When
- Only when you open the extension or choose its right-click action. The keyboard shortcut opens the same popup. It does not monitor other tabs, read your browser history, or run scripts inside spreadsheet pages.
- What it sends
- That one address, to clientdashboard.ai, so the app can open a new dashboard with the link filled in.
- What it stores
- The extension stores nothing. The app temporarily keeps the handed-off link in your browser until you use it. The link also appears in the address of the tab it opens, so it may appear in browser history and request logs. No passwords or spreadsheet contents are stored by the extension.
- Sheet contents
- Never read by the extension. The app reads the sheet only after you choose to build, using the sharing you set.
- Permissions
- activeTab lets the popup read the current tab's address and title when you invoke it. contextMenus adds the spreadsheet page and link actions to Chrome's right-click menu. There is no permanent website access, browsing-history permission, or extension storage.
- Website activity
- The selected spreadsheet address is website activity data. It is sent only to ClientDashboard.ai for the link handoff, not collected as a browsing history. The title stays in the popup and is not sent.
- Sharing and use
- The extension does not sell data, use advertising or analytics, or send the selected address to unrelated third parties. The destination app and its hosting providers process the handoff to provide the requested service; the app's separate privacy policy applies there.
- Remote code
- All extension scripts, fonts, and images are bundled in the extension. It does not fetch remote code or make background network requests. Opening an app tab is a navigation, not an extension fetch.
Use of information received from Chrome browser APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. No data is used for advertising, sold, or transferred for unrelated purposes. For account information and dashboard processing, see the app privacy policy.
